Dr Rob Davies, Minister of Trade and Industry hereby, in terms of Schedule 1, item 2(3)(a) of the Liquor act, 59 of 2003, and after consultation with Alan Winde, the MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism: Western Cape, hereby determines that the Liquor Act 27 of 1989 shall cease to operate in the Western Cape Province from 1 April 2012.
