High level delegations from the BBC and BUSA held a preparatory meeting in Sandton yesterday to plan and initiate the agreed engagement between the two organisations on matters of mutual concern. The BBC delegation consisted of Mxolisi Zwane – FABCOS President, Nano Matlala – BLA President, Lawrence Mavundla – NAFCOC President, Dr Danisa Baloyi – black business leader
and the BUSA delegation consisted of the BUSA CEO Nomaxabiso Majokweni, AHI outgoing CEO Dr Stef Coetzee, BUSA Deputy CEO Raymond Parsons and the BUSA Operations and Transformation Executive Director Kganki Matabane. In a constructive and positive three-hour meeting, the two organisations agreed on a series of processes of further engagement in the immediate future that will begin to address the key issues of major importance to business unity in South Africa. Progress reports will be issued from time to time.
