"Today, the world observes International Day for Tolerance which generates public awareness around intolerance of asylum seekers and refugees, and as well as emphasising the dangers of intolerance."
Warning against intolerance towards refugees and asylum seekers, Chauke said the committee was committed to their integration into society.

employment," he said.
The committee wanted refugees to be given opportunities that would enable them to have a better life. "We wish to extend this day of tolerance and goodwill to all those who leave their country in search of better opportunities, in the hope that one day they will enjoy a better life, Chauke said.
The International Day for Tolerance is an annual observance declared by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation(UNESCO) in 1995 to generate public awareness of the dangers of intolerance.
