The IFP welcomes the disciplinary hearing verdict on suspended Cricket South
Africa CEO, Gerald Majola, who has been found guilty on all charges.

IFP Spokesperson on Sports and Recreation, Hon. Mkhuleko Hlengwa MP, said,
"We are happy with the judgment because it takes us one step closer to
closing this matter. We are hopeful that the Labour Court will move speedily
with the appeal so that order can be restored to Cricket South Africa."

This case has been ongoing for an inordinate length of time and the IFP
hopes to see it brought to finality. Said Hlengwa, "We want to see Cricket
SA hiring a new, credible and competent CEO, to restore confidence to
cricketers and the entire Cricket SA Board. Cricket SA needs to get back to
its core business which, amongst other things, is to develop cricket in the
townships."

The IFP is opposed to anyone mismanaging funds and enriching themselves with
taxpayers' money.
