"The horrific road accident that has claimed the life of our Deputy Minister
of Health, Dr Molefi Sefularo, has left our country poorer," said IFP
President, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi MP today.

The IFP has had opportunity to work with Dr Sefularo in Parliament and in
Government, and has great respect for his skills and leadership. He was an
accomplished scholar and a dedicated servant of our nation at all levels.

"I know that Dr Sefularo was admired within the community for the work he
did to raise the standard of living for all South Africans. His leadership
in the health portfolio was outstanding. Yet it was but one of the fields in
which he made a valuable contribution," said Prince Buthelezi.

The IFP extends its condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Dr
Sefularo. He was well-liked by many and his tragic death is a loss to us
all.
