ID National Organiser MP Joe McGluwa, has branded the in-fighting in the North West and Western Cape Provinces as the tip of the iceberg.
"For several years, the leadership of the ANC has ignored the ongoing power struggles in these provinces in the hope that the problem will simply disappear. Instead of disbanding the provincial leadership, the ANC should send the entire provincial Structures to a "serve the people workshop" to remind them why they are involved in politics in the first place.. Sadly the divisions in the Party are not a fight for better services for the people, instead it is a fight for resources and power." Says McGluwa
The people of these provinces are becoming impatient with the poor levels of service and it is time that the ANC took their responsibility more seriously.
