Lance Greyling, the ID Chief Whip in Parliament has expressed the ID's ‘deep sadness at the tragic loss' of Doctor Sefularo in a car accident in Pretoria West on Monday, conveying condolences to his family.
‘Dr Sefularo's contribution to the National Health Insurance scheme, a scheme which the ID wholeheartedly supports, was invaluable and we thank his family for giving us so much of his time,' Mr Greyling says.
‘Dr Sefularo showed great passion and we hope that the Department will ensure that his work will continue to bear fruits in the future.
‘Perhaps the best way that we as a country can remember him is by adopting the same kind of determination he showed to ensure that the National Health Insurance scheme is implemented in such a way that the gross inequalities in our healthcare system are overcome,' says Greyling.
