Joe Mcgluwa, the ID Spokesperson for Sport has called on Safa ‘to make up its mind about where Bafana Bafana's training base for the World Cup is going to be.

‘For the host team to be without a training base just 91 days before the World Cup kickoff is completely unacceptable. Safa must now finally get its act together,' Mr Mcgluwa says.

The ID MP's comments come after reports that Johannesburg's Sandown High School was told that Bafana Bafana would no longer be using its facilities for their base.

‘Besides the fact that the school appears to have been left in the lurch, the ID believes that all the logistics needed to turn our Bafana Bafana into a well-oiled machine must be in place without any more fuss or delay,' says Mcgluwa.

‘The South African Football Association (Safa) must come clean over whether reports that it has been considering a new training venue that has already been acquired by another team, are true.

‘We are running out of time,' Mcgluwa says.
