HIV Prevalence and Related Factors: Higher Education Sector Study - 1 709 KB
 

This report from the Higher Education HIV/Aids Programme, on behalf of the Department of Higher Education and Training, finds that the HIV prevalence rate among students is 3,4% and 1,5% for academic staff. While HIV among students and staff at higher education institutions is less common than in the general population, the survey results are more complex than the average prevalence rate and certain trends raise concerns.
