The final report of the Hefer Commission into allegations that Public Prosecutor boss, Bulelani Ngcuka, was a spy for the apartheids government, would be handed to the government today.

The Department of Justice and Consitutional Development said the report would be handed to Justice Minister Penuell Maduna at a media conference in Pretoria this morning.

The Hefer Commission sat in Bloemfontein for 23 days last year, hearing evidence about allegations made against Ngcuka by former transport minister, Mac Maharaj and Schabir Shaik. – Sapa.
