The Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Ms Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams has noted the resignation of South African Post Office (SAPO) CEO, Mark Barnes.
Appreciating the immense contribution made by Mr Barnes during his tenure as the CEO, Minister Ndabeni Abrahams said: “his departure comes at a time when SAPO is charged with driving digital transformation in the postal sector. He played an integral role in strengthening the organisation and trust that our paths will cross again.”
The Minister further welcomes the appointment of SAPO Group COO, Ms Lindiwe Kwele as the interim CEO and wishes her well in this new role.
