Gauteng Premier David Makhura will on Friday, 9 December 2016 engage the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) community in the Gauteng City Region.
The Gauteng government is raising awareness about the rights of the LGBTI community and aims to de-stigmatise this community. Among others, the dialogue will focus on social cohesion, economic opportunities, corrective rape and killings of the LGBTI community.
Premier Makhura will be joined by Members of the Executive Council.
