“Afrikaners should unite as a group to regain their political freedom and help rescue Southern Africa from going under,” Mr. Jaco Mulder, MPL and leader of the FF Plus in Gauteng says

During a meeting of the party held this weekend in Pretoria, he said that the FF Plus as the last bastion of Christian Western values in the South African party political set-up, is an alternative to the socialist Africanism of the ANC and the liberal Africanism of the DA.

Mulder agreed with comments made by Mr. Moeletsi Mbeki during an address this weekend at the University of the Witwatersrand that South Africa, under the control of the ANC should never have destroyed the infrastructure that the Afrikaner nationalists had created.

South Africa had already deteriorated from a country which had developed and exported technology to a country which is at present exporting raw-materials and importing technology and expertise.

The ANC government is at present keeping a large portion of the South African population happy with social grants which make production costs in South Africa more expensive, also with particular reference to agriculture. Mulder said that more than 50% of the world’s economies have in the past two years achieved a better growth rate than South Africa’s economic growth rate.

It is clear that competitive countries following the recession are focussing increasingly on effectiveness and increased production while the South African government is focusing increasingly on redistribution.

Afrikaners possess a group of unique expertise and skills to make a contribution to the advantage of the whole of South Africa but they are increasingly being marginalised by the ANC government. Racially driven legislation and measures make of Afrikaners and other minorities, second class citizens to the detriment of the whole of South Africa.

Afrikaners should take control of their own future to eventually once again take up their rightful place in Southern Africa.
