Africa loses thousands of academics and other specialists every year who choose to apply their knowledge and experience in other parts of the world. For economic growth and development in Africa it is necessary that Africa succeeds in preventing this brain drain. In this regard the Freedom Front Plus supports the Africa Diaspora summit conference which is currently taking place in the country.

In as far as the Africa Diaspora is currently only focusing on black people who find themselves outside of Africa, it is racist. More than a million white Africans, from South Africa alone, find themselves currently in other countries in the world. Many of them left South Africa and Africa against their will due to circumstances out of their control and want to return. A strategy to bring the Africans in diaspora back to Africa from across the world should also include them.

Africa has the potential to become the fastest growing continent in the world only if we clear all the political and ideological barriers which are currently tripping Africa up. An African diaspora which views only certain Africans from Africa is one of these barriers.
