Title: EE: Dwane: Address by Equal Education spokesperson, on the Campaign for School Libraries and Human Rights Concert, Cape Town

Today, we are here to celebrate Human Rights Day, remembering the Sharpville Massacre. It was on this very day, 21 March 1960, 50 years ago when the Apartheid police killed unarmed protestors in Sharpeville in a march organised by the PAC. This is why we have to protect and guard this precious right to demonstrate with all our lives because it allows us to express our dissatisfaction with the authority - whether it is the employer or government. We will fight with all our might any threat to this fundamental right.
