Today we (Leader of the DA, Helen Zille, Cape Town Mayoral candidate Patricia de Lille and DA National Spokesperson, Lindiwe Mazibuko) put up the Democratic Alliance’s first Local Government Election poster at the Grand Parade in Cape Town. Over the next 48 hours, every major town and city in South Africa will be covered in a blue wave of DA posters.

The posters will be displayed in all 11 of South Africa’s official languages. You can see the English version of the two main posters by clicking here and here.

The DA is ready for this election. We are the first major party to put up our posters. Our candidates have been selected. Our public representatives are working hard in their wards and constituencies and we have a comprehensive election campaign plan designed to tell the people of South Africa that where we govern, we deliver for all.

In Cape Town, where we are launching or new posters today, the DA has proved that it delivers for all. That is why we have chosen City Hall in Cape Town for our first poster. Over the next two months, we will travel the length and breadth of this country taking our track record in government to voters everywhere.

Our message is simple: A government that delivers better services, creates the conditions for economic growth and jobs, reduces crime, is more efficient and transparent and is focused on expanding opportunities so that all people can better their lives.

The choice in this election is clear:

Voters can choose a party that likes to talk about a better life for all. Or they can choose a party that has a track record of actually delivering a better life for all.

Vote DA, We Deliver for All.
