The Democratic Alliance (DA) would like to wish our world athletics champion, Caster Semenya, well for the upcoming athletics season and hopes that she has put the unfortunate events of last year behind her.
Following the announcement by Athletics South Africa (ASA) that world 800m champion Caster Semenya will be competing in South Africa's domestic athletics season the DA would like to express our support, and encourage all parties involved in last year's debacle to allow our star to concentrate on her promising sporting future and allow her to excel with the talent with which she has been given.
