The Democratic Alliance (DA) welcomes the suspension of Leonard Chuene, head of Athletics South Africa, along with the entire ASA board. We have repeatedly been calling for this for months. Indeed, I originally asked for SASCOC to take this action on September 20th. Athletics South Africa's handling of this matter has been shameful.
