The congress of South African Trade Union condemns the public response by the police including the prosecution on the death of Mr Eugen Terre'Blanche.

It is publicly reported that the two farm workers 15 and 28 years are arrested on the murder of Terre'Blanche. The police made an additional charge as usual for theft or robbery. Now the questions are where does the issue of robbery comes from? Why the police accept to investigate the robbery charge and refused and to investigate the issue of the condom.

As the federation we are not the police or investigators, but we find it very difficult for the police to accept the report of robbery and refused to entertain the condom issue (why)? If the police do not want to investigate the matter of condom, they must remove the charge of theft or robbery as well.

We are aware and we have been following all the cases of farm workers / farm dwellers that either they are mistaken with pigs, baboons, dogs or stealing. Currently the racist called Van Wyk was charges with murder after shooting Frans Modise mistaking him with a Guinean fowl and the charge is turned to be capable homicide.

Lebogang Mosikare in Bosdam was assaulted to death by the farmer but there was no arrest no postmortem since June 2009 till now, still investigation.

We are aware that the director of public prosecution in Mmabatho is Mr. Smith. Therefore no case involving white and black farmer workers will be fairly treated. This has been our complain for years, we are now going to re-direct the planned provincial march to the director of public prosecution in Mafikeng. (Mr. Smith)

COSATU is going to demand that all cases of people who were killed and assaulted by the late Eugene Terre Blanche be re-opened and be investigated.

A racist farmer called (Naas Groender) is currently busy illegally evicting 30 families as part of their programme in response to the killing of Eugene. The farm is being sold to the farmer by the municipality of Madibeng (De Oberon) this weekend the farmer called a group of racist farmers with guns to evict the poor farm workers / farm dwellers who have been working there for years.

Once again the police refused to take the case of pointing of fire arms against the farmer, but agreed to take a case against the farm workers alleging that they assaulted a white racist farmer.

COSATU calls the municipality of Madibeng to take responsibility of the proper accommodation, water, electricity and sanitation including transport for learners to the school.

This is a clear picture of corruption in Madibeng led by our politicians who do not care about the voters, they care about their pocket.

COSATU calls a mass action by farm workers to respond to those challenges, we have been negotiating for too long, time must come for mass action.

We request the report on the sale of the Oberon and Kommandoek resorts by the corrupt municipalities of Madibeng and the North West provincial government to be released publicly who is the owner?
