The Congress of South African Trade Unions is calling for the ANC PTT to take serious disciplinary action against certain factions within the ANC in the North West province. It is now time that the members are told that individuals are not bigger than the ANC and that our loyalties must be with the ANC not with a person.

The ANC PTT now knows very well who is leading the faction within the ANC in the province. The ANC members must refuse to be used by people who are in power of money to worship them as their smalayan, or little god. We have only one GOD in the whole world. There is no other GOD who is appearing in all the banks of South African except the only mighty GOD that all of us are praying to.

Therefore those who call themselves GOD and JESUS must be punished by the whole world, those who are in power of money, please use your money to create jobs and eradicate poverty for a better life for all the poor people in the province.

We calling for the ANC PTT to start action against those people who are creating factions in the ANC. This action must start with those who planned to disrupt the ANC NEC meeting in Potchefstroom in 2009, those who damaged the Ben Marais Hall during the ANC PEC disbandment in Rustenburg 2009, and those who disrupted the Dr Kenneth Kaunda municipality council meeting in January 2010. Now it is those who call them leaders of the ANC in the province, who led a factional mass meeting over the last weekend in Potchefstroom.

We think action must be taking against those people. Those who sponsored them financially, must be fully investigated, so that we are able to build strong disciplined ANC members, and a strong province to deliver services to the poor people. Factions can only be removed by action not public statements.
