The Congress of South African Trade Unions warmly welcomes ANC President Jacob Zuma’s 8th January 2011 Statement, delivered this morning at Polokwane. It is one of the best ANC anniversary speeches ever to have been made, and truly takes forward the resolutions of the ANC’s 2007 Polokwane Conference and the 2010 National General Council.
COSATU is particularly pleased at the President’s declaration that 2011 will be a year for job creation, and the federation will support every measure that the government takes to bring down our intolerable levels of unemployment
