The Congress of South African Trade Unions notes the decision of the National Disciplinary Committee of the African National Congress to find leaders of the ANC Youth League guilty of various offences under the ANC constitution and to impose sanction on those found guilty.
COSATU respects the ANC’s internal processes and will not comment on the specific cases, but reaffirms its commitment to discipline within the ANC and its leagues and condemns any members who undermine that discipline.
