The Congress of South African Trade Unions strongly condemns the threat made by Pitso Mphasha, President of the PAC Youth League that they will kill Julius Malema, or "injure him to death" if he does not apologise within five days for saying that the Pan Africanist Congress hijacked Sharpeville.
It is absolutely deplorable that what ought to be an important historical debate should be conducted through threats of violence and murder. The SAPS must investigate and if the threat is confirmed, lay charges of incitement to commit murder against Mphasha.
