The Congress of South African Trade Unions has noted the media reports about the financial affairs of the President of the ANC Youth League, Julius Malema. We call for an investigation by the ANC’s Committee on Ethics and Members’ Interests, the SA Revenue Service and the Special Investigations Unit into the allegations. As well as investigating possible tax evasion, the SARS investigation should institute a lifestyle audit to discover the truth about the financial affairs of the ANCYL President.
