The Congress of South African Trade Unions sends its heartfelt condolences to the Mandela family on the tragic passing away of Zenani Mandela, the 13-year old grandchild of Zindzi Mandela and great granddaughter of Nelson Mandela. We also send our best wishes for a full recovery to Winnie Madikizela-Mandela who was also in the car that crashed in Johannesburg and any others who have been injured.
The thoughts of South African workers are with the family as they struggle to come to terms with this tragedy at a time when they would have been joining the World Cup celebrations.
