The Congress of the People (COPE) has revealed Kedibone Mathebe as their mayoral candidate for the Tshwane Metropolitan Council.
Mathebe is an internal auditor from Shoshanguve. The eradication of poverty tops Mathebe's priority list. She stands for transparency and satisfactory services and will root out corruption matters which she says are plaguing the current ANC led council.
The party is geared to work hard, with other political parties, NGO's and the city's people, to contest and even take over the metropolitan. "Our main aim is to fight poverty so that the people will be able to afford the rates and taxes. The second thing is to fight corruption, mismanagement and related issues of the incompetence of the administrative staff and to also deal with the corrupt elements in politicians."
Mathebe says the electorate needs politicians who are ethical and would serve the people.
