Congress of the people Gauteng is proud to announce the success of the three regional congresses held this previous weekend in Greater Johannesburg addressed by Mvume Dandala, Tshwane addressed by Mbhazima Shilowa and West rand. These congresses have proved the constituency of Cope being rooted right at the centre of the poor and working class. Inclusive of all regions the consolidation of nominations for national leadership indicated the emerge of a consensus of the inclusive leadership that is not factional hence the proposition of the position of the National Chair to learn from the mistake of other political parties of the winner takes all. We now look forward to continuing with the regional congresses this coming weekend on Saturday the 27th in Ekurhuleni, President Terror Lekota will be addressing the members, and Sunday the 28th Mluleki George will be addressing Sedibeng.
