Congress of the People (COPE) notes the Cape High Court judgement on the crucial Constitutional matter involving COPE President Mosiuoa Lekota challenging his ousting from a National Assembly Sitting.
The matter was thrown out of the Cape High Court today. It is our firm belief that the judgement has Constitutional implications and would therefore like to study the judgment and consider legal advice.
And we will respond in detail in due course. However, we continue to respect the judiciary and its pronouncement.
