Congress of the People (COPE) MP, Dirk Feldman, today sent a letter to the Office of the Public Protector, Advocate Thuli Madonsela, requesting an urgent judiciary investigation into finances of the South African Airways (SAA).
Feldman believes the matter warrants an urgent attention because the ongoing administrative and financial crisis in SAA deserves to be normalised to avoid a further waste of taxpayers’ money.
COPE is also impressed by the continued unity voice amongst civil society, opposition parties, etc in the fight against corruption in Public Enterprises and other government entities.
Congress of the People (COPE) will inform the public about the public protector’s response and continue advocating for a corrupt-free government.
See letter to Public Protector attached.
