Congress of the People (COPE) MP and Acting Chief Whip Mr Dennis Bloem has expressed concern and disappointment at how the NCOP is handling the Protection of State Information Bill.
Mr Bloem said the late tabling of the report this morning will create perception to the public and organizations that their inputs were not important.
Ad hoc Committee of the NCOP was still not ready with its full report despite having concluded provincial public hearings.
COPE is concerned about how the process of soliciting public comments on the bill had unfolded.
