On 22 December 2009, Rob Davies issued a notice (Notice 1663 of 2009) initiating a process for the Rectification of the Companies Act, 2008. The rectification is restricted to provisions that appear to be incomplete as well as grammatical, technical and incorrect cross references, which may give rise to different interpretation of the provisions concerned.
