BUSINESS entrepreneurs can come face to face with new opportunities in Africa at a “Doing Business in Africa” seminar at the V & A Waterfront on Tuesday, September 8.

The one-day seminar has been organised by the Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry and builds on last year’s highly successful event which was attended by 150 delegates.
Africa is one of the few areas of economic growth and has become a new frontier for business. South African firms are well placed to take full advantage of the opportunities on offer.

A panel of top speakers with knowledge and experience of African markets will describe the opportunities and possible pitfalls of doing business in countries with different laws and customs. They will deal with new immigrations laws, global trade management and the tripartite free trade area and what it means for business.

There will also be a presentation on the penetration of Chinese business into Africa and the regulatory challenges of doing business in Africa.
