BUSA urges all employers to make provision for staff to have quality time off to vote. It is important to maximize the involvement of voters in these elections notwithstanding that tomorrow 18th May, is a public holiday. It is important to maximize the participation of voters in these elections.
BUSA believes that for democracy to deepen and widen in SA, every citizen should be free to participate in the democratic process as they see fit. We urge all eligible citizens to exercise this right, especially in this level of local government closest to them. It is an opportunity for citizens to hold their political leaders accountable for service delivery.
