The African National Congress Youth League calls on the Premier Soccer League (PSL) leadership and all South Africans to accept the outcomes of the South African Football Association (SAFA). Kirsten Nematendani is a democratically elected President of SAFA and all democracy loving South Africans should accept such reality. There is no one with an entitlement to soccer leadership and administration in South Africa and all those who participate in Soccer administration must abide by the democratic process that characterise the Soccer administration bodies.
The Professional Soccer League should particularly support the new SAFA President and the entire Executive in the leadership and development of soccer in South Africa. Attempts by PSL to undermine the SAFA leadership should be immediately halted and all focus dedicated towards preparations of a successful FIFA 2010 Soccer World Cup, strengthening and development of the National Soccer Team (Bafana Bafana) into a winning team.
