The African National Congress Youth League mourns the passing away of Dr. Molefi Sefularo, a dedicated, loyal cadre of the African National Congress, a health activist, whose passing away was untimely. Dr. Sefularo represented a true character of a disciplined deployee of the African National Congress as a Deputy Minister. He recurrently and consistently attended ANC Health and Education Committee to get proper guidance on how he should fulfil his responsibilities as a Deputy Minister of health.

Dr. Sefularo understood that he had to amidst narrow opposition; make sure that the National Health Insurance is implemented. As a commemoration and celebration of Dr. Sefularo, the ANC Youth League will advocate for the speedy implementation of the NHI and encourage youth to live healthy lifestyles. We will forever be inspired by dedicated cadres who refuse to sacrifice principles at the alter of expediency. May his soul rest in peace.
