The African National Congress (ANC) has noted with disgust the scurrilous and baseless claims by COPE MP Mbazima Shilowa in Parliament that the SABC produced t-shirts on behalf of the organisation (ANC).
These assertions by Shilowa, made yesterday during the National Assembly debate on the dissolution of the SABC Board, reflect the lowest form of political point scoring and poverty of ideas within the COPE leadership.
The ANC challenges Shilowa to repeat the statement outside of comfort of Parliamentary privilege.
