AfriForum Youth today said, the attack launched by the ANC Youth League (ANCYL) - in a press release - against former head of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Russel Loubser suggests that the ANCYL’s busy instigating a race war.

“The ANCYL is defending their own extremism by making white people the enemy, whilst poverty is supposed to be the enemy. The ANCYL is constantly busy with wayward arguments about the economy, while hatred, racism and intimidation are the only methods that the ANCYL can use,” AfriForum Youth national chairman, Charl Oberholzer said.

“The conduct and utterances of the ANCYL indicate to the world that the ANC is already radicalised to such an extent that mutual respect has become non-existent,” Oberholzer added.

The ANCYL further implied in a press release that they will use violence if Loubser continues to voice his opinions of the youth league.

AfriForum Youth herewith calls on the ANC leadership to step in if they attach any value to political stability in South Africa and if they don’t want to be seen as a leadership embarrassment to the rest of the world.
