Bonginkosi Emmanuel Nzimande, Minister of Higher Education and Training, after consultation with the Council of Education Ministers and in terms of sections 22 and 29 of the Adult Basic Education and Training Act, 2000 (Act No. 52 of 2000), intends to amend the National Norms and Standard for Funding of Public Adult Learning Centres published in General notice 1769 of 2007 in the Government Gazette of 14 December 2007, as set out in the Schedule.
