Comrades in various branches across the province have been giving inputs to Cde Nomusa Dube-Ncube on various topics which they believe requires the ANC to focus on.

Based on the inputs and suggestions from the branches,  that Cde Nomusa Dube-Ncube continues to receive,  she has  repackaged the inputs into what will be an Economic Game Changer.

As mandated by the branches, the focus will be on  creation jobs and growing the economy across all corners of the province.

Comrades have also said she must ensure that she cuts the red tape associated with government.

This will ensure that government departments are flexible and of assistance to the people of KwaZulu-Natal.

As mandated by the ANC branches and guided by the ANC she will focus on the following:-

Economic Sectors Working Groups

●Establishing Working Groups with members drawn from the community, different municipalities - to focus on specific sectors of the economy; 

●She will convene regular meetings of Workstreams, which will include government officials, municipalities, business sector and representatives of small businesses.

●Economic Working Groups to discuss government support, mentorship and business development and funding that must be give to businesses at local levels.

               

 Informal Economy

 

● Ensuring a clear support and professionalization of Spaza shops, street traders, domestic workers, waste pickers, farm workers and many others small business;

● Support to also be given to taxi owners, car washing business, salon owners, hairdressing industry, fashion designers and many other small businesses that are helping families in the townships and rural areas to survive.

Comrades will be encouraged to send more inputs in a WhatsApp number to be created.
