For general information, it is made known that the following person is elected and appointed as a member of the South African Veterinary Council to fill a vacancy caused by the resignation of an elected member of Council and that his term of office will commence on 12 December 2017 and will end on 31 July 2019, in terms of the Veterinary and Para -Veterinary Professions Act, 1982 (Act no 19 of 1982), as amended:
