The ANC National Working Committee (NWC) met in a regular session on Monday, 27 March 2023, to discharge its duties in terms of the ANC Constitution to implement decisions of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ANC and to prepare a report with recommendations for submission to the NEC at its next meeting. In its deliberations, the NWC was guided by a report of the ANC National Officials. The following are some of the organisational, political and governance issues which were considered by the NWC:

 

1. CONDOLENCES AND WELL WISHES

The NWC paid revolutionary tributes to comrades Marhoom Moosa “Mosie” Moolla and Pule Thathe who passed away on the 21st and 25th of March 2023, respectively. The NWC also sent its deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the two comrades. Comrade Mosie was buried on the 26th of March and comrade Pule’s funeral took place on Tuesday, 28 March 2023 at the Albertina Sisulu Centre, Orlando, Soweto.
