Spoor & Fisher continues its winning streak with MIP’s Africa and South Africa Firm of the Year 2019 awards

Leading intellectual property law firm Spoor & Fisher won both the categories it was nominated in at the Managing IP Global Awards ceremony held in London last night, walking away with the awards for Africa Firm of the Year 2019 and South Africa Firm of the Year 2019. It has never happened that one firm has won both accolades in the same year and it is an especially proud moment for the firm.
 
Now in its 14th year, the Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) Global Awards recognises remarkable achievements and developments in the Intellectual Property field. The awards take into account all activity over the past year, including successful cases, notable client wins and innovative approaches to the law.
 
Coming into this year, Spoor & Fisher also won the inaugural Global IP Awards’ Trademark Firm of the Year; the Gold Award for the Best IP Advisor Africa & Middle East at the Innovation & IP Forum and Awards; PMR Africa’s Diamond Arrow Award and was also ranked as a Gold Band trade mark firm in South Africa by WTR 1000 and as Band 1 firm by Chambers & Partners in their Chambers Global Guide 2019 rankings.
