Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi confirmed in a press conference that South Africa had no refugee camps and that this was in line with the requirements of the Constitution. This is an important policy affirmation at a time when some are calling for such camps to be established and others fear that camps, or variations of encampment, might be established stealthily.
