President Cyril Ramaphosa
President Cyril Ramaphosa is on Friday attending the State funeral of former Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki in Kenya.
The Presidency said Ramaphosa undertook this visit to Kenya after he hosted a State visit by President Umaro Embaló, of the Republic of Guinea-Bisseau, on Thursday.
The former statesman who served from 2003 to 2013 died on April 21 at the age of 90.
He will be laid to rest at his home in Othaya, in the Nyeri highlands, on Saturday.
Ramaphosa is being accompanied by Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Dr Naledi Pandor.
Last week Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta said Kibaki would be remembered as a gentleman in Kenyan politics, a brilliant debater and one who steered development in the country.
