Proudly South African (Proudly SA) is pleased to announce the recent appointment of a leading businesswoman, social entrepreneur, author, motivational speaker and PR Executive to head up the organisation’s Marketing and Communications Department.

Mrs. Happy maKhumalo Ngidi brings over ten years of local and international corporate experience to the organisation, along with international experience in Marketing, Communications & PR Management.

Mrs. Ngidi - the founder and Managing Director of a Public Relations boutique firm that assisted clients form formidable relationships with media giants – will lead Proudly SA’s marketing team. She brings to this, our significant campaign, her impeccable managerial skills as well as globally relevant marketing trends that will undoubtedly contribute towards the Proudly South African brand reclaiming its rightful presence in the public domain and in the market.

The former PR & Communications Manager for SABC Radio Station, Metro FM, also has extensive experience in driving strategy development as well as brand and product launches for a number of international and local brands in the hospitality, beverage, FMCG and broadcasting services sectors.

Mrs. Ngidi’s experience spans across a number of companies including Seagram SA, Chivas Brothers, The Forum Company and Primi Group as a Franchisee. She has first-hand experience working directly with suppliers and clients in various industries including Gauteng Tourism, Lonmin, NFVF, the Gauteng Premiers’ Office, Cebekhulu Holdings, LTE Consulting and Regent Insurance.
