Nungu Diamonds, has noted with concern and disappointment the misleading and factually incorrect article published by the City Press newspaper, 25 September 2022 which seeks to purport possible liquidation of Nungu Diamonds. Not only is the headline misleading so too is the balance of the content of the article. Nungu Diamonds’ doors remain open and there is no liquidation in place or threatened liquidation against Nungu Diamonds. Business
continues as usual. City Press acted in bad faith and in breach of the Press Code by publishing the article and attaching the heading that it did because it knew that such an article would have an adverse effect on our reputation and relationship with our stakeholders and partners.
