The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) met with the management of Bell Equipment today as part of conciliation, held under the auspices of the Metals and Engineering Industries Bargaining Council (MEIBC). NUMSA has deadlocked with Bell Equipment and we are in the process of trying to unlock the dispute and map a way forward. 

We are meeting with our members on Wednesday to give them feedback on the conciliation process and to discuss a way to take the process forward. 

We will update the media after we have engaged our members about the progress which has been made.
