The Hawks have arrested the acting head of department at the Northern Cape Department of Health.

The suspect was arrested for the alleged contravention of the Public Finance Management Act, Hawks spokesperson Nomthandazo Mnisi said on Wednesday morning. He is expected to appear in the Kimberley Regional Court later on Wednesday.
