HENRY LAAS - Murray and Roberts

After 25 years of democracy, South Africans can celebrate several successes achieved along the way. However, many citizens are justly disappointed with the country’s governance, the widespread abuse of the country’s resources, criminality and the lack of meaningful socioeconomic progress.

South Africa is a country facing daunting challenges. Consequently, we are living in unsettling times and our complex political landscape makes it difficult to predict the future, which has the potential to realise a wide range of outcomes. South Africa holds much promise and by making the right decisions and working hard, we can overcome these challenges in order to realise the full potential of this beautiful country and ultimately a better life for all.
