Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, will table the Department's Budget Vote before the National Assembly on the 25th of May 2017.  Her speech will highlight some of the priorities of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) for the 2017/18 financial year and outline strategic plans as envisioned in the Defence Review 2014.

Hon. Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula-MP, will be joined by the leadership of the Department of Military Veterans, SANDF and key stakeholders in the defence industry.

The delivery of the Budget Vote Speech in the National Assembly chamber will be preceded by a media briefing. Members of the media are invited to the pre-Budget Vote briefing as follows:
